FAQ
What is the difference between Basic and Precision series?
Basic series targets general workshop use with -85 kPa ultimate vacuum. Precision series achieves -100 kPa and is optimised for lab and sensitive casting work where deeper vacuum is critical.
Do your pumps require oil changes?
No. All SOLIDrive models use an oil-free piston design. No maintenance oil is required, which simplifies operation and avoids oil contamination in sensitive environments.
What is the duty cycle for continuous operation?
Basic series is rated for continuous operation up to 4 hours. Precision series supports up to 6 hours. For longer runs, we recommend a 30-minute rest between sessions.
Can I get a custom voltage or frequency spec?
All standard models operate on 100–240V AC (50/60 Hz) and work globally. If you need DC-powered or custom voltage variants, contact us about OEM options.
Do you provide CE and RoHS documentation?
